1. Invitation to participate in Wonderful Copenhagen Taekwondo Tournament (WCTT)
Danish and international referees are hereby invited to Copenhagen to participate as referees in Denmark’s largest taekwondo Tournament, which takes place in Valby hallen, in Copenhagen. Every year there are approx. 3-400 participants in our tournament, on up to 5-6 courts. In order to be able to complete all these fights we need about 40 referees. In the following paragraphs you can read the necessary information for referees who participate in WCTT. On our homepage you can find more information about WCTT Referees from Denmark, Norway and Sweden come each year to participate in our tournament. A majority of the referees return to WCTT year after year to relive the positive atmosphere of the tournament, and to reunite with old friends.
2. Registration as referee

3. Arrival at Valby-Hallen and morning briefing / meeting for referees
As soon as you arrive at the tournament (Saturday) in Valby-Hallen you can register at the Referee Office in Valby-Hallen. – There will be an official morning meeting for all referees on Saterday at 8 am. Address for Valby-Hallen is:

4. Accommodation for referee
Referees are offered accommodation at Scandic Hvidovre – about 4 km (15 minutes from Valby-Hallen) Accommodation will be booked from Friday the 20th of August to Saturday the 21st of August (one night) and does only include breakfast at the hotel. You are not required to pay for this accommodation. Family is not included in this arrangement. Address for hotel is:

5. Provisions etc
Meals for referees are free of charge during the tournament – two meals (morning/afternoon) – and a sandwich in the evening. There will be soft water, tea and coffee during the tournament, Family not included
6. Honorarium
In addition to free accommodation and meals, referees receive 50 eur per competition day. Honorarium fees are paid out from the Referees Office after the tournament.
7. Referee dress code
Grey trousers, belt, white short, blue tie, blue jacket, sport shoes (indoor) and a ballpoint/pen (See picture)
8. Transport
The distance from Copenhagen International Airport to Valby-Hallen is about 12 kilometres, and the distance from Copenhagen City is only about 5 kilometres. Whether you are travelling by train or by airplane, it is easy to find Valby-Hallen, either by bus, train or taxi. For further transport guidance contact the information desk in the airport or at the main station.
9. Tournament rules
WTF K.O. system and the rules of Danish Taekwondo Federation, For boys and girls there is contact in MOMTONG only. There will be a short up-date of rules at the referee morning meeting before the tournament.
